Upcoming Events
Movement as Liberation: Yoga and meditation with Soraya Latiff
Movement as Liberation is a monthly yoga and meditation session guided by local instructor and social justice educator, Soraya Latiff. Each session is unique, but always includes a focus on grounding meditations written and spoken by Soraya. The theme for meditations may draw from the exhibition on display, current events, or her own work in social justice and anti-racism. Offerings and tools for classes may include tarot, card pulling, mantras, breathwork, resting positions, and incense.
Curatorial Talk with Rae Richards
Join us for a curatorial talk and exhibition tour with Rae Richards, the guest curator behind the 2025 Rough Gems exhibition, Transnavigation: Coming into the Body as Home. Led by Union Hall’s Chief Curator, Esther Hernandez, we will be discussing the concept, inspiration, and selected works in the exhibition.
Into the Skin: Transnavigation Closing Party
Into the Skin closes out the Transnavigation exhibition with embodied performances from Salineconjure666, Amayas, and Geo Conjure. These drag performances invite folks to experience moments in the body, feeling the euphoria, grief, joy, despair, experimentation, and pride of living in a gorgeous and hostile world.
