Guided Oracle Experience

  • Union Hall 1750 Wewatta Street, Suite 144 Denver, CO, 80202 United States (map)

Oracle is an experiential exhibition that positions art as a vehicle for introspection and guidance. Rather than simply viewing the work, visitors are invited to engage with them as oracular tools, asking questions, seeking insight and exploring personal meaning.

Weekly Guided Oracle Experiences offer facilitated support for those wishing to delve deeper into a reflective journey. Every Saturday from 1-4pm visitors can make a reservation to move through the gallery blindfolded and are positioned in front of each artwork with guided volunteer support. Once visitors land on an object or artwork that resonates with them, they can remove their blindfold and contemplate if it holds insight to a question or thought the visitor has posed to themselves. The intention behind the Guided Oracle Experience is for visitors to gain a personal connection and even so far as a revelation, in the process of using art as an oracle.

There are a limited number of spaces available for Guided Oracle Experiences. Reserve space for up to 2 people in advance using the calendar below.

Some artwork is meant to be interactive while others are intended to be viewed only. Facilitators will communicate to visitors what works can be touched in addition to signage placed near artworks that are interactive. The gallery will remain ADA accessible for the duration of the exhibition. The gallery will remain open for walk-in visits Wednesday through Saturday from 12-6pm.
