WARNING: Mi Amá
A new collection of work by Denver poet, artist, and musician Diego Florez-Arroyo that explores the deep, innate connection between humans and the concept of “mother” in all its forms—biological, earth, and spiritual. Through a combination of mediums and processes, the exhibition draws attention to Florez-Arroyo's craftsmanship and intentional use of the beauty of the natural world, Mexican mythology, rituals, and traditions, as well as his own lived experience and connection to his mother.
