The Splifftet

Making their mark on the world of improvised music, the Splifftet has been defining their sound through innovations in original composition and the exploration of modern improvisatory language. The Denver-based group, which has been together for over three years, features drummer Maliq Wynn, saxophonist Chris Ferrari, vibraphonist Alec Streete, pianist Max Moore, and bassist Tony Golden. The Splifftet seeks to create a visceral listening experience for the audience, and strives to create a connection with them through the unifying power of music. The Splifftet has performed throughout Colorado, including at the Five Points Jazz Festival, the Larimer Lounge, Dazzle Denver, The Muse, and Mighty Fine Productions; and they are excited to be performing together at Union Hall for the first time.
