WHAT IS GIVING TUEDAY?
Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday before Colorado Gives Day, Dec. 7th. In Colorado, we use Giving Tuesday to schedule Colorado Gives Day donations. Union Hall is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on the support of generous donors. Our mission is to advance opportunities for diverse, emerging artists and creatives, provide a platform for Denver locals and visitors to engage in enriching exhibitions and creative experiences, and serve as a community-focused arts space.
WHAT’S COLORADO GIVES DAY?
Colorado Gives Day is a year-round movement that unites all Coloradans in a common goal to strengthen the state’s nonprofits by giving to your favorite charities. We encourage you to join the statewide Colorado Gives Day movement by supporting Union Hall through ColoradoGives.org. Union Hall is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on the support of generous donors. All contributions help Union Hall continue to provide diverse cultural programming and support artists and creatives through fair & equitable wages.
KEY NUMBERS IN 2021
Union Hall has worked with 25 artists and 5 guest curators, paying fair and equitable wages to all.
40% of artists featured over the last year have identified as BIPOC of Latinx, and 80% identified as female or non-binary.
Over 90% of events organized by Union Hall in 2021 have been free!

By scheduling your CO Gives Day donation to Union Hall by December 7th, 2021 you will help us enter additional prize pools!
Scheduled Donations (5 prizes at $2,000 each) - Nonprofits who get a scheduled donation will be eligible for a random drawing each week beginning Nov. 1st. Scheduled donations must be made by donors on the site by 11:59 PM on the Friday each week between Nov. 1 and Dec. 3 to be eligible.
Grand Prizes - $30,000 (3 prizes at $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000)
Nonprofits are automatically entered into this random drawing if they receive at least 30 donations on Colorado Gives Day. Donations made on December 7, or scheduled to process on December 7, qualify. Community First Foundation will provide nonprofit entries that include the nonprofit’s name to FirstBank who then draws the winners during a live broadcast on Denver7’s Mile High Living Date to be announced.
