About WARNING: Mi Amá

WARNING: Mi Amá is a new collection of work by Denver poet, artist, and musician Diego Florez-Arroyo that explores the deep, innate connection between humans and the concept of “mother” in all its forms—biological, earth, and spiritual. Through a combination of mediums and processes, the exhibition draws attention to Florez-Arroyo's craftsmanship and intentional use of the beauty of the natural world, Mexican mythology, rituals, and traditions, as well as his own lived experience and connection to his mother.

Florez-Arroyo’s intention with this body of work is to encourage viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of life and the urgent need to protect our planet as a nurturing force.

WARNING: Mi Amá is on view through January 4, 2025.

Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12 - 6 pm. Gallery hours will change during the Holiday season. Check our event page for updates regarding gallery hours.
